Program Overview

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Management offered by the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences is designed to develop graduates who are well-equipped with strong managerial knowledge, digital competency, analytical thinking, and ethical values. This programme blends business theory with technological tools and industry-focused skills, preparing students to lead and adapt in dynamic local and global business environments.

Through real-world case studies, data-driven decision-making tools, and cross-disciplinary subjects, the programme cultivates future-ready professionals who can respond to complex business challenges and make responsible decisions across industries.

Program Learning Outcomes

  • Describe comprehensively theoretical and technological knowledge of business management.
  • Apply analytical and evaluative skills to seek creative, innovative solutions to complex application and unpredictable issues in the area of business management.
  • Perform a variety of fundamental methods and processes, including reviewing, modifying, and supervising associated procedures and practices to address complicated issues in corporate management discipline.
  • Work together with different people in a variety of learning and working contexts for business management practices, as well as with other organizations locally and globally.
  • Use suitable and diverse presentation techniques to relate concepts to a variety of audiences, whether orally or in writing.
  • Apply a wide array of applications for information, media, and technology to support study and work
  • Combine numerical and graphical or visual data for study and work.
  • Work autonomously and demonstrate decision-making abilities, accountability, leadership, and professionalism within the framework of the organization’s boundaries.
  • Integrate successfully into career routes and self-directed lifelong learning.
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial competency with the selected project, by considering broader socio-political, economic, and cultural issues at the local or global scale.
  • Analyze local and worldwide challenges related to business, technology, social issues, and environmental issues while making ethical decisions and acting professionally in the varied social and professional context.

 

Entry Requirements

On Campus & Online
  • A pass in STPM with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in any TWO subjects; or
  • A pass in STAM with at least Grade Jayyid; or
  • Matriculation or Foundation with at least CGPA of 2.00; or
  • A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with at least CGPA of 2.00; or
  • An Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) with at least CGPA of 2.00;
  • Passed Secondary School Examination / Shahadah Thanawiyah ‘Ammah or;
  • A Diploma in related field; or
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.

 

* Additional requirement: A pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level or equivalent qualifications.

 

English Competency Requirement (International Student)

  • Achieve a minimum Band 3 in MUET OR equivalent to CEFR (Low B2); or
  • 30-31 TOEFL: or
  • 4.0 IELTS band
