Assoc. Prof. Dr. Besar bin Ngah

Prof Dr Hj Besar (67) is an industry expert in Islamic Finance having served the banking & finance industry for more than 20 years both in Malaysia and in the Middle East. He also has an extensive lecturing & research experiences (15 years) both in Malaysian universities as well as in the U.K. and the Middle East in areas of Islamic Finance, Islamic Economics, and Islamic Management. Prof Hj Besar graduated with a PhD Degree in Islamic Banking & Finance (KUIN) as well as having an MBA Degree in Management (AIM-Harvard), Post Graduate Diploma in Syari’ah (Mal), a BSc (Hons) in Agric. Econs. (UPM), and a Diploma in Education (Mathematics- IPG-PG). He has supervised numerous Masters and PhD students from across the globe in Banking and Finance disciplines.
