Vision and Mission

• Preparing students and promoting their learning in the area of economics, deep understanding the administrations of wealth and business-related practices, the different economics models, theories and practices.
• Developing students skills in understanding economics and having the ability to search and ponder over methodological problems and issues.
• Developing the behavioral and practical student skills that is necessary for communicating with the society to convey the values and ethics that represents a fair day to day business and financial dealings.

Entry Requirements

i. Master’s Degree in relevant fields from MEDIU or any recognized institutions of higher learning;or
ii. Master’s degree with at least one year of relevant work experience; or
iii. Other recognized qualifications are equivalent to it by the Malaysian Government.

English Requirements
Candidates who wish to enter a program which medium of instruction is English language must pass the English Language Qualification (TOEFL: 6.00 / IELTS: 6.00 or equivalent). Exemptions will be given subject to the University Senate’s approval based on situations.

Program Structure

The applicant could enroll for this program under [Structure A].

The applicant is required to study a subject named Research Methodology, then the applicant can start the research under the supervision of an academic member of the Postgraduate Studies Department.
